5. Neck Rings Culture.

The Kayan women of northern Thailand are stunning. They still wear neck ring commonly. These rings are called brass ring. And women wear these rings around their neck and leg. The Kenyan women are most famous for their heavy jewellery. And that is the main part of their culture. Those who have worn them for a very long time can fit upwards of 20 coils around their necks. Children are first given a set of rings at age 5. At that point, the rings weigh about 4 pounds per set. More rings are slowly added over time, usually reaching 25.  Legend says about brass rings that ” Kayan women wear these ring for the protection of the tiger attack. And other means that the long neck is the symbol of beauty so that’s why they wear a brass ring.



It is related to body art. In old age definitely, tattoos were also odd.but in modern age tattoos change different form. It is not just designed of any ink. It makes with cutting, branding and different difficult process. 3.Lips Plate

You usually listen about actresses who want to makes their lips big and for that, they are ready to do a surgery. But I am sure you have not seen these types of lips before. We can say that this is the most wired and strangest tradition in the world. This tradition is in  Africa among a few indigenous tribes, particularly in the central and southern part of the continent, as well as among some tribes in the Amazon rainforest. Women from the Mursi tribe in southwestern Ethiopia are particularly notable for this practice because their village has turned into a tourist attraction for Westerners to come and get their gawk on. This lips plates made with wood or clay that is also known as lip disc or a lip plug. It is uncertain that how this bizarre custom come into being. First is that lip plating originated as a deliberate disfigurement designed to make women and young girls less attractive to slave traders. And second, people say that a long and big plate is the symbol of richness.


2.Hindu Thaipusam Festival Piercings

During the celebration of the religious holiday, Thaipusam. Hindu declare their love and respect to Lord Murugan by piercing a various part of their body. It is celebrated in  Tamil community such as India, Sri Lanka, Malaysia, Mauritius, Singapore, Thailand and Myanmar. In Tamil Nadu, they celebrated their devotion to the birth of their lord Murugan and his killing  Soorapadman.they do this through a painful piercing in their body including the tongue. Over time, the rituals have become more dramatic, colourful, and bloody, with large spears and hooks through the chest and face – some devotees even pull large wagons with ropes attached to their bloody backs.

The Dani tribe is the indigenous people .they inhabit of fertile lands of the Baliem Valley in West Papua, New Guinea. The strange traditions of this tribe are the most famous and as well as the most horrible tradition in the world. They cut their fingers in any relative funeral carmine. They show their love for that dead person through cut their finger. If a husband passes away then tribes cut wife’ little finger. This act shows the loyalty and love for her husband. When you visit this tribe you will see that mostly old women don’t have any finger. Because they cut it for their relatives. Finger represents body and soul that will always live together with his/her spouse. The number of fingers that will be cut off depends on how many persons She/He loves even though she/he will lose all of her hand`s fingers and will be unable to perform household chores effectively
